The Ultimate Recovery Combo
Our private sauna and cold plunge facilities are now open at Strength Nation Carterton and Cambridge (soon to come to Masterton) free for all SN members, and available to the public by booking.
Each sauna session is set in a discreet outdoor area behind the gym, so you can recover in peace with no distractions. It’s your time, your space — bring a mate or go solo.
The cold plunge is rolling out gradually across locations. We’ll update members as new setups go live, so keep an eye out.
Whether you’re winding down after a heavy lift or just chasing that clean, clear post-sauna feeling. it’s all here when you need it.

FAQs
Do I have to be a member to use the sauna or cold plunge?
Not at all. These facilities are open to the public as well — just make sure you book in advance.
Is it really free for members?
Yes. If you’re an active Strength Nation member at a location with these facilities, you can book and use them for free.
How long are the sessions?
Each booking slot is 30 minutes and includes private use of the sauna area.
Can I bring a friend?
Definitely. You can bring a guest or two to your booked session — they’ll just need to fill a waiver prior to the sauna. Contact your SN to arrange this.
What do I need to bring?
Towels, drinking water, and dry clothes for after. We’ll handle the rest.
Is the cold plunge optional?
Absolutely. You can use just the sauna, just the plunge, or both — it’s up to you.
